This page describes exactly what AstroZuno collects and what happens to it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version
To draw your chart we need your name, birth date, birth time, birthplace and your email address, so we store those; a phone number is optional and stored only if you choose to give one. The email is your account — no password — and the way back to your readings. Birth details are kept for 180 days so you can reopen your reading, then deleted automatically. We do not sell any of it, share it for advertising, or run any tracking or analytics scripts.

We do not ask for and do not hold payment details, government identifiers, or location beyond the birthplace you type. A phone number is asked for but optional; we hold it only if you typed one, we never verify it by SMS, and we never call or message it for marketing. Your reading opens with the email you registered — that address, with a 6-digit sign-in code when you return, is the whole account.
Accounts
A free account is one email address and nothing else — no password, no profile, no payment method. Signing in works by a 6-digit code sent to your address; entering the code is what verifies it. An account does three things: it keeps your readings past the 180-day anonymous limit, it enables the PDF download, and it unlocks the Life Line (the birth-to-90 timeline view).
Emails we send to you: the sign-in code when you request one, and the reading's record when you download a PDF. That is the complete list — no newsletters, no marketing, no reminders. Signing out is one click on the reading page; deleting the account and everything attached to it is the same erasure described below and works the same way.
Cookies
Two cookies at most, both set by this site only. az_sid is
HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, contains a random
identifier and nothing else, and exists so your reading can be shown back to
you. az_auth appears only if you sign in — it is the signed-in
session (HttpOnly, Secure), holds another random
identifier, and disappears on sign-out. There are no third-party cookies, advertising cookies or analytics
cookies, which is why this site has no cookie banner — there is nothing to
consent to beyond the cookie that makes it work.
Who else touches it
Three companies process data on our behalf, and no others:
- Vultr — hosts the server, located in Mumbai, India. Your data is stored there.
- Cloudflare — delivers the site and holds our encrypted backups (Cloudflare R2). Because Cloudflare terminates the connection, it necessarily sees requests in transit.
- Brevo — delivers the emails we send (sign-in codes and PDF records). Brevo sees the recipient address and the email content in transit, as any mail provider must.
Neither is permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising networks, social media pixels, session recording, or any external astrology API. The astronomical calculations run on our own server using freely published NASA JPL ephemeris data.
The accuracy study
AstroZuno is free, and while it is free we run a study whose only question is: are these readings actually right? You join it one answer at a time: every reading carries Yes / Partly / No checks, and tapping an answer is the act of agreeing — that answer, with the chart it was about, enters the study. If you never tap, nothing about you enters the study at all; your details are still captured temporarily to compute the reading, on the 180-day terms above, and nothing more.
Each enquiry gets a Reference ID like AZ-7K3M-92,
printed on your reading. That ID, not your name, is what the study data is
filed under — and the handle for support or erasure.

Roughly one reading in twenty is a control: one life-area card is generated from a different chart. This is the only way to tell a correct reading from a reading that merely sounds correct about anybody, and the difference between those two rates is the number we are actually trying to measure. If it turns out to be zero, we would rather know.
Withdrawing. Quote your Research ID at astrozuno.com/withdraw. That erases the reading, its sentences and your answers. We keep one record that a withdrawal happened, and nothing else — that record is the evidence the erasure was carried out. No email and no report link needed: the ID is enough, on purpose, so that leaving is not harder than joining.
When AstroZuno stops being free, this arrangement ends for new readings. Paid readings will not be added to the study without a separate and separately-worded agreement.
Deletion, and your rights
Everything is deleted automatically after 180 days. You do not have to ask.
You may also ask us, at any time, to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it immediately. The quickest route is the Research ID printed on your reading, at astrozuno.com/withdraw. Otherwise email [email protected] and send either the Research ID or the report link — readings are tied to a browser cookie rather than to an account, so without one of those we have no reliable way to identify your records, and we would rather tell you that than pretend to a certainty we do not have.
Clearing this browser's cookies also breaks the link between you and your stored reading. The data then expires on schedule.
Children
This service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly store birth details submitted by a child. If you believe a child's details have been submitted, email us and we will delete them.
Legal basis
We operate from India and process this data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You provide your birth details voluntarily in order to receive a reading, and this notice is the notice that Act requires. Consent to the accuracy study is separate and per-answer: tapping a Yes / Partly / No check is the affirmative act, recorded against the version of the wording that was on screen at the time, and withdrawable with your Reference ID at astrozuno.com/withdraw — which is meant to be no harder than giving it was.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top. We will not quietly broaden what we collect and rely on you not re-reading the page.
